Default [HELP]...Windshield upper trim removal...

WTF?

I have the side moldings removed and can't get the top reaveld molding off, particularly the top corners, don't tell me their held on by clips. It's either super glued on or I have to remove the clips...

yes they are held on by clips and you will need a special tool to release them. This tool can be bought at almost any parts store. Good Luck, Craig

I remember my glass guy removing it on my 71, not real sure what he used. Topless, if you want to see what it looks like underneath there, my 80 is dissasembled and can be used as a reference.

Hi

I got a quote to get my front glass replaced.
The guy told me that it's only valid, if all trim is installed with the proper clips.
Unfortunately, lots of trim is glued by Bubba and he couldn't even guaranty he wouldn't destroy the trim in case it's glued. :mad

So, the moral of this is, I'm still driving with the old window.
