Default Ordering oil pan looking for suggestions

I am going to order an oil pan for my "80 L48 and I would like to know what aftermarket pans anyone has installed kind of leaning toward a side kickout higher volume pan as I am going to be building a 400 stroker in the near future in the 420 - 434 range but and regular volume pan would also be OK right at the moment.

Part numbers would be helpful :D

Have you looked at some of the Milodan pans, I think that one of their different pans should fit quite nicely.

I run a Moroso 7 qt kick out style pan,and have had good luck with it. Plenty of clearance, and no leaks.

I've got a 7 qt. Moroso road race type pan. It works well, but if you are building a 430 later on you need to make sure the pan rail has bump outs for rod clearance. Most race pans do, but not all. Check out Canton oil pans. They have some nice wet sump pans, most are cadium plated. Also if you are using a big block pump, you would want to check for clearance.

I'm using a a 7qt Milodon. The first one I got had a leak where the seams had been welded. Sent it back to Summit and got another one. Had to install a windage tray as the L81 didn't have one from the factory.
