Default Non PB Master Cylinder Removal.

Some one else started me thinking. I have a leak in my vacuum tank reservoir. I need to remove it to try to fix it. In order to remove it I have to pull the master cylinder. I don't have PB, how hard would it be to remove the master cylinder and are there any tricks or pitfalls I should be aware of?
Thanks for any help!!

Go to an auto parts and get a cheap set of plugs for the MC, usually included in inexpensive "one-man" bleeder kits or MC bleed kits. I think I gave a few bucks for mine. As long as you don't let the thing leak completely dry, you won't have to re-bench bleed it. You will have to bleed the lines though. If you're using organic brake fluid, remember to treat it just as you would paint stripper.

Can I just take the master cylinder loose from the firewall and pull it out of the way far enough to remove the reservoir tank without breaking the lines loose?
