Congrats!!! I already know my '86 pickup will not make the new emissions requirements in Texas and have decided to not dump more money into it. I'm moving to Bermuda!
OK, more conflicting information. So, cars in Texas older than 25yrs do still have to pass emissions? Several people have told me (on this forum) that we do not have to pass emissions with our vehicles... which is the truth?

Re: WOOHOO!!! I passed inspection!! (80Xflags)
Got mine inspected this morning too.
Three years in a row now the passenger side high beam doesn't come on for the annual inspection (it never fails any other time of the year). It is becoming a tradition for me to have crawl under my car to jiggle the ground wire to pass inspection
Maybe next year I will remeber to fix that before I go in.
The emmision test this year consisted of the guy raising my hood halfway and looking in the engine compartment for about 3 seconds then closing the hood. It passed.
