Default Took the Passenger Side Head off Need help Diagnosing Problems - PICS

Can you guys look at these and tell me whats up with my engine please.

Pics are links due to size

The #8 piston looks scored and the #6 piston looks more oily than the others.

Looks like it might be bad rings. The motor has serious sludge issues as well. Infrequent oil changes or low quality oil.

I'm assuming this is a '76 350?

#6 looks like a bad oil ring, evident by the heavy oil deposits in the cylinder ans also the CC on the head.

The other cylinders look pretty normal, as normal as a high mileage engine would look.

By the sludge in the lifter valley, and the other evidence, I would hope this engine is coming out for a little TLC. :yesnod:

yeah im yanking it out to see if i can rebuild it myself :)
