DRAFT Removable Rear Window How-To
Having installed a removable rear window in my '73 coupe, I wanted to share the knowledge so I created a tutorial that describes how I did it.
It's an Adobe PDF file, 12 pages, about 95KB in size. It includes a list of parts and materials required and suggested suppliers, and step-by-step instructions, including (some) photos. It's a draft right now (missing some photos), but complete as far as the words go.
Email me if you'd like me to send you a copy - I welcome any feedback on ways to improve it. Sorry for the dry, technical writing style, it comes from 14 years of writing flight test reports.
I've learned a lot here on the Forum - just my attempt at sharing the knowledge.

I put the removable window in my '73 too...one of the best mods I did! I'm sure many will benefit from your consideration...I wish I had documented mine as well.

Re: DRAFT Removable Rear Window How-To
I've got a '69 Corvette. While you may say I should already have one, a prior owner put the "fastback" style rear glass from a '78-'82 Corvette on my car. Is buying a new rear upper deck (Eckler's part 11038) all I would need to do in this case?
At any rate, I would like a copy of your write up. Someone I know may need it someday. Thanks. E-mail address: avanti63r1025@yahoo.com

I'd love a copy, please send to:
enomis@sympatico.ca
Also, if you need some web-space to host the file so forum members can automatically download it, let me know I'd be glad to do it.
