I like C3's with letters out. C1's & 2's letters in.
White letters seemd to have been made for C3's.

Out if you're using 15x8 rims. Nothing says "old school" like raised white letters!

Mine are in but I bought them that way (used) on wheels. When I get new tires the white will be out again.

When I first got the vette I bought some performance tires...BFGOODRICH T/A RADIAL R1's.
Real sticky tire. There was no lettering! If you check around nearly all the racing tires don't have raised white lettering. As a consequence I liked the look of the solid black rubber because it helped me feel like I had some traction, and also the raised white letters make me think the tires have a hard rubber compound like the tires that were originally on the car.
Thus, when I could no longer get the R1's I bought some of the standard Radial T/A's, and had them mounted with the lettering in...not as good traction, but still looks like I do!

Out is in, in was in for awhile back about 15 yrs. ago and out was out, but out is back in again so go with out  Did everybody follow that ? i think i might have even lost myself :lolg: Of course if the tires say some thing like Rickshaw 2000's on the side it would be best to get new tires .
