these are more than just "covers"...
they are complete, mounted pieces...
they are very firm and comfortable and would just snap into your shells...

SIGNGUY,
YES, I'm interested. If yours are what Ecklers refer to as Doeskin (code 56 '78-'80), then it looks a pretty good colour match to me, so if nobody else has grabbed them let me know.

Hi Paul
Yes, I knew about your first painter's problems and that you were going to try and retrieve the parts. The rest is news! And I thought I was Mr Bad Luck! I think I may have mentioned this before, but wouldn't you do better getting some Vinylcote made up in an aerosol and spraying these yourself? I know two places near here that will match it to any colour and put in a spray can..... Or should'nt I have mentioned that! :) Glad the trans swop is completed cleaned all the fluid up yet?? :D
We'll be at Brooklands on Friday, may we seeyou there, in an MG maybe? ;)

Paul...
ok...i put the other pix on my web site (link in my sig)
there are 4 pix...all good size...
if you want to see more just ask...
i like the idea of you sending the $250 and then the shipping cost once i ship them...i do apreciate you letting me "use them" while i wait for my new ones...
a bank check as you described will be fine...
as far as the material goes...they appear to be the originals...whatever that material is...according to Wilcox, the originals were leather with vinyl side bolsters...Chevy did that to stop premature ripping of the bolsters from repeated entry and exit in and out of the car...they tried all leather without success...
let me know if they look satisfactory to you and we will procceed...
i dont know why my email didnt reach you although i do have that problem with corvettemail occationaly...
please send me a test email...

Re: leather seats for sale...$250 (Stephen Irons)
Stephen,
I considered painting them myself, but I've had a lot of problems with silicon on interior parts that I've already painted &, as I had so much other stuff to do, I thought it would be easier to take them to a bodyshop! Bad move.
We'll be at Brooklands for another wallet emptying session :) Hope to see you there.
Signguy,
Did you get the email OK?
