It's kinda rough around the edges, especially for a 16,000 mile car. Overlooking the fact that I hate the widebody kits it's okay.

I'm sure the owner of that vette put alot of time & money into it, but I have never like the *far-fetched* mods to the bodies of the C-3's. I would bet that a good conversion of a '79 to a vert that looked stock would draw much more attention when it comes to selling one. I've played the car show scene & walked away with trophys when there were much better restored stock vettes, but there were only a few who were in my category of "Altered Vette". Don't take the trophys for this vette as it is anything special as I for one think it is not.

Just a view from my end.

I really like it except for the recessed lights.

Not sure why anyone would eliminate one of the top 3  est features of the C-3. Lack of vacuum?

:iagree: On a more-stock-looking '79 that would be awesome. I just don't like that at all with the body kit.

Looks like a good candidate for a “B” sci-fi movie.

I think the trophies were for his son's high school sports career, OR he bought them! :lolg:

I think this car has more miles that he says - who does this to a brand new car? By the way - hows he going to sell a car with that pack of fuzzy non distinct photos?

Also notice how poor the fit of the nose is around the single "flaw" in the car.
I've seen alot of non-award winning cars with better fit than this.

I don't care at all for the widebody kits. IMO - it totally covers the
body that makes the C3 so appealing. Just my opinion.

I think those are bowling trophys. I do not like the wing off the back, the gills in the fender look too small and in the wrong spot. The photography is just horrible. The engine compartment is unimpressive. I would look for more detail in a custom show car. Having shown cars as much as indicated by the trophys I would expect better picture is both composition and quality. The price is not to bad so far. :skep:

It reminds me a little bit of my Duntov... but the Duntov was a lot nicer...

One word: BARF!

I cannot believe these people who will spend untold thousands of dollars on body kits and convertible conversions. But all they do in the engine compartment is pull the stock air cleaner and stick on a cheesy Edelbrock unit. This unit actually represents a step DOWN from the stock '79 dual-snorkel breather...

Like I said before: BARF!

IMHO, there is no room for improvement on the C3 styling. :nono:
