Carpet Question, Where to buy?
Hello All!!, been a while since Ive visited the forum, ive been busy with school and its been like -10 here in Indiana. Anyway, I got the new Ecklers catalog today, and I was wondering if anyone has purchased their carpet and what they thought of it. It seems like a pretty good deal, $209.99 for a complete set of cut pile. Also which is better cut pile or loop?
Thanks!!
Ben

Almost all the vendors carry ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) brand. The cheapest I found by far was from "The Last Detail" (TLD) in Atlanta. Check it out.
Their online address is http://www.CorvettePartsDepot.com or call 770 414-4158
Good Luck

The best for fit and original look is from Romeo Engineering but they take a long time to get the product to you.

Ben,
I am getting ready to do the same job and after looking around the best price that I have found is TLD as mentioned by others posts. Unfortunately they are not a supporting vendor but these cars can be expensive enough as it is so you have to do what you have to do to save money. :yesnod: They carry ACC and the quality of other stuff I have bought from them is very good.
As for the type of carpet. How do you drive your car? If it is a daily driver then I would definately go with the 80\20 it is much easier to clean. Cut pile looks good but is a PITA to keep clean. Hope this helps.

I purchased my seats & carpet from Al Knock interiors (Texas based) at an all Vette show in Carlisle. Everything fits perfect and OEM specs :steering:

Avoid Romeo Engineering. Here's a thread on the subject. They may have good Carpet, but most folks have never seen it.

I couldn't afford our supporting vendors for carpet so I used http://www.yankeelady.com/willcox/ .
It is drop shopped from ACC, cost $139, and was decent quality.

I used Zip about 3 years ago I think it was about $200 not sure. But I do know it fit realy well without a problem.
