Vacuum gauge
I need to replace the vacuum gauge I've been using for the last 40 years. (Stuff just doesn't last anymore.) Any suggestions on a good unit? I'm leaning toward a liquid damped gauge like we use on motorcycles. The one I had wasn't damped and I always found it to be a pain to use.

Mine is one I bought from Matco tools 25 years ago. I don't find it at all hard to use. But likely they don't have that anymore!

If you only buy one thing, get a nice metal Mity-vac with a vacuum gauge. It will measure vacuum, and allow you to test components as well.
I use this Lisle 20300 vacuum gauge when I'm just detecting something.

I have had this one for about 20 years now, got it from work before retiring. Probably time for a more modern one.
