Default Edelbrock E- Street (5089) runners

All you guys running the Edelbrock 64cc E-street heads... the instructions call for Champion RC12YC plug. What plug are you running and what's your experiences? Enquiring minds want to know.

Mine have been on for over 6 years. As I am not a big fan of Champion plugs. And I really don't remember the instructions telling me to run a poor quality plug. (But maybe?)
Anyway, I run NGK BKR5E-11's
my experience??? I've been running NGK plugs in most everything for 50 plus years.
never, not once an issue.

Champion RC12YC crosses over to AC Delco Rapidfire 5. I installed the spark plugs when I changed to the Edelbrock 5089 heads in winter 2016-17. No problems.

Your running MSD or some multi spark ignition?

I'm running a Davis Unified Ignition. D.U.I. , HEI distributor. Definitely not multi spark. (That's just a useless gimic anyway). I run a 45 thou plug gap which is fairly normal with a HEI .

I have used NGK FR5 as a replacement for those Champion plugs.

Are you running stock ignition or something more modern?

They are currently run with a MSD setup, but a few years ago I had them with a HEI distributor.
