Default who has put a ZZ4 in there car with a 700r4

The 700r4 is almost in with the factory 300 hp 350. I just picked up a new NOS ZZ4 which will be going in soon . What can I expect guys

I did the ZZ4 20 years ago, but with a 4 speed. I think with the auto it should be even easier since you do not need to change the flexplate to a flywheel.

If it is one piece seal....which I believe it is....you are buying a one piece flexplate.......use your current Q-Jet if that is what you have......if running manifolds.....you will have to open the upper part of the ports on the exhaust if memory serves correct.....the "D" port roof runs into the port on the manifold...not good......I don't believe there is any issue with headers......

If he got an untouch zz4 it should have the flexplate from the factory. You are correct, it is a one piece seal.

The ZZ4 takeoff intake I have has a choke heat stove panel. I'm assuming it also has an exhaust crossover. Not needed with an electric choke and headers.

So consider an intake, or intake gasket change, depending on what you are doing.

It's a 1 piece with OEM flex plate and I will run headers and use a quick fuel carb. I like the quick fuel carbs I have never had a problem with one
