Default 1968 Convertible - Best Shock Combination

Hi all, I have a 1968 vette with Monroe shocks (30 years old) and its time for new ones. I have 460 lb springs up front and a fiberglass rear spring. The car is used for all around driving fun.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I went with Bilstein B6 and B8 with the glass spring and I've been very happy, as with lots of others if you search around

I have used both KYB and Viking. I really like the Viking because it is adjustable both rebound and compression sides. For just a straight gas shock, the KYB works well.

I use Bilsteins HD on my small block 66 and 68. Both have rear glass springs. Jerry

From my research and experiance, the Bilsteins work very well, and will last a long time.
Previous Monroes and KYBs wore out quickly.
