Default Speed direct spreader bar with van steel tubular upper arms.

Just went to install my speed direct spreader bar on my van steel tubular upper a arms. Seems the mount is a bit too long and does not lay flat because the ends go over where the bushing are. Any thoughts?

Add another / thicker washer to get it to clear would be my first thought. Grinding / cutting the end of the mounting bracket so it doesn't go out that far would be my second.

Grinded a bit of the ends of the mounting brackets. Fit good after that. Got the bar on and done. Carbon fiber bar.
