Have the door panel off and rods disconnected on my 77 ...how the H?ll do ya git the latch out? Have tried with window up/down, what's the secret combo or am I missing sumptin???? :cry

Access door at the bottom with the hex head screws.

I think I had the window and window frame out when I removed my door latch. That would create additional work with realignment.

I used the access hole near the latch, and I remember some #@X%&* words.

Is it possible to drop it down and remove it through the access panel for the power window motor? (Mine is a 1980)
