Pretty much what I did but with Summit. Sometime tomorrow a replacement set should arrive. I hope it's early enough so I can get to it. All depends on the time of delivery at this point. Maybe Edelbrock should send me a T-shirt or something. This really through a wrench into my plans, even had a buddy lined up to help me. Shooting from the hip at this point.

Hope your getting a complete head and not just springs. I would be in contact with Edelbrock not just Summit. I doubt Edelbrock shipped them that way!

Edelbrock really dropped the ball here! Wish I could find a real email address for Edelbrock. I do want to let them know that I am Not a satisfied customer.

Did you order the original set directly from Edelbrock or from Summit?

Ordered from Summit along with ARP head bolts, TrickFlow pushrods, gaskets, plugs, sealer etc.

Then I would think someone did a switch at Summit or pulled the parts for a build and the box went back into their warehouse by mistake.
I’m glad Summit is taking care of you.
I’ve ordered from them for years and never had any issues with them or their customer service.

As I said before, I doubt they left Edelbrock that way.

Id bet $ on Old car bums comment being right on the money,
Doubt Edelbrock had anything to do with this their CS is real good.
If you got a problem, call. I bet they more than make good on it..even if it was summit at fault.
