Heads yes i did bump it with key and saw rotor hang up. Thought about chain in the beginning but have the good Cloye double which is pretty bullit proof..

So got new gear but comes with no dimple. Does that matter? Dimple on gear is suppose to just point to rotor tip from what I remember. If 180 off does it matter?

Just answered own question. Looked at dimpled bad gear and hole dimple side lines up between two teeth. Other side hole lines up under one tooth. So new gear has same

setup even though no dimple. Will line up same as old.one.

13 teeth. has to be different each side. sounds like you got it registered right. now. spend another 100 bucks. drop the pan. clean everything out. toss the oil pump in the trash. it could still have a hunk of valve seal or timing gear tooth jammed in it making it hang up.
