Question on the tie rods....is one of them opposite thread going into the sleeve?

Yes, you need a right and a left hand thread so when you turn the sleeve it either lengthens or shortens the assembly.

Thank you....So to adjust you just turn the sleeve that sounds easy enough.

Correct. The sleeves are threaded that way.
