You probably won't find either one, or at least at a reasonable price anyway. They are getting harder and harder to find these days. Even if you happen to find one, the chances are good that they have issues as well. I get calls all the time about this subject and I just have them go with the newer GM ECM that will be laptop tuneable when modded. There is a guy that I can turn you onto that has a pretty good starter BIN file for a stock 82 tune that runs well if you decide to go that route and can't find a good ECM. Let me know with a PM if interested. Good luck on your search.

No problem, just trying to help you out. Also, I just called Blue Streak to see how much they wanted for their Reman made in Mexico ECMs. They do not sell them and you need to go through an auto parts retailer like Autozone according to them, Blue Streak. So, they may or may not have the parts you are looking for, but maybe you will get lucky?

If you do go that route, make sure you mark your chip on one end with a marker or whatever to ensure that you put it in the new ECM the exact same way. If not, and you can put it in backwards with no problem, as soon has you hit the key and power is applied you will instantly fry the PROM and it will be junk. Just a little info for you in case you didn't know that. Good luck.

Blue Streak respects the supply chain. You can go through just about any parts store. Whatever you do, do not buy Cardone ecm's.

Try https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corv...-ecm-1985.html They listed 85, but I would call.

Honestly, the best way to go is to go with the EBL Flash II and laptop tune it, for better performance, but that's just me. By doing that, you are already setup for ANY mods you want to do down the road with no issues, just change the tune and go. Also, I can put you in touch with a guy that has a bone stock 82 tune that is plug-N-play and WILL save you a ton of tuning just to get it going and driving.

Are there any salvage yards close to you. You might be able to search online. Trust me, at the normal scrappage rate there has to be some out there. I wouldn't give up. Most stores wouldn't stock them because of low sales.

Looking at salvage yards online you've got to be careful with that a lot of car part scammers out there.
