Default Is this supposed to be there?

I posted about a jumper in the fuse panel in the gauge slot. Upon looking closer, I see another questionable wire.
I haven't been able to get under and take a close look. I am going to remove the driver's seat later today and hopefully get a better look.
Does the circled wire look like it should be there?

You have to trace and see what its feeding,
could be switched or constant power.

Got a test light check it.

You can also unplug it and see whats not working.

Do the connectors on each end look like the first wire occupying the Gauges fuse location?

I guess the thicker bolt is for a high amp circuit.

Oh yeah. I've seen that, and the use of rolled up foil from a pack of cigarettes,
Don't need no damn fuses. Keep the juice flowing until something smokes then you found the problem.
And if you got 50A fuses, then use them if your 10A blows.

Cloth covered wire. Last car I wired like that was a 38 Buick. Under the dash a sea of bare wires.

Then there were the 2 brothers that had a fuse fail and they decided to stick a .22 bullet in there...temporarily. One of the brothers ended up with a bullet hole in the leg, shortly thereafter.

The other brother was named Bubba.

Hey Edd-

The pink wire is for the power windows and is correct- comes from the factory that way

NOW - I'd worry about the jumper wire that is in the gauges fuse slot-

Here a guide to Fuse replacement...

Default Thank you

I had all kinds of fun today. Pulled out the driver's seat and pulled the red jumper and replaced with a 20 amp fuse.
Drove a while and nothing seems to have blown the fuse. We'll see??
