Can someone please tell me the rod end and/or bolt size for the spreader bar? It is a 1/2"? The bolt that runs through the bore of the rod end will be the same size as the rod end so it easy to just measure the bolt.

Also, is the cross bar 7/8" in diameter?

I'm looking at making a similar one.

The threads are 1/2”

Go to Coleman racing, and buy the ends and aluminum link. Lighter/ cheaper.

Good info, guys. Thank you. Pzark, I like those 12-point nuts on the a-arm studs. That looks nice.

One more question, what is the length of just the bar (the swaged metal tube)? It looks like the VBP mount set it off of the cross shaft quite a bit.

The distance between those two front a-arm studs is 22.25" on my car. Judging by the photo it looks like the rod end takes about 2.5" of length. So I'm guessing that the bar is about 17". How did I do?

My VB&P is 16.5 inches so you were close
