1970 Wiper wiring help
The interior is back in the 1970 454 Convertible and was able to start and drive it yesterday, but I have no wipers or wiper door actuation (or headlight lifting, but I'll deal with that later.)
For the wiper, it appears there are wires that are not attached, but the only wires around have been clipped and/or spliced...but they are blue and yellow wires, which I'd guess are related to those off the wiper solenoid. I'm assuming there is supposed to be some type of power wire to that now vacant top post. It is not clear from the wiring diagrams.
Any ideas of what clips/screws into where?

Here is everything I have on your motor...
Bench test the motor first... then you'll know if it's good or not.
There is enough info on our tech site to find any issue.
Did you bench test the motor? I'd do this first.... Take every factory wire off the motor then run power to the center terminal, ground the case and have two other ground ready... if you test the motor this way and it works you've taken it out of the picture. You can do this test on the car by taking the bell crank off the motor.
There is also a video on how to test the wiper switch if you think this is the issue posted below.
Here are the main articles and videos on the web site to help you.
