Default GM lifters

Saw a Summit link to GM flat tappet lifters are those real GM or a rebranded Delco thing?
Mech would be even better....back in the 80s we used to used xxx brand or PAW cams but only GM lifters.

Are summits the real thing? They seemed to never go flat and if you changed cams we just did the figure 8 sanding deal, reused them with 0 failures.

The ones @Summit say Delco on them so could be anyones?

The better GM hydraulic lifters with the hardened feet are still out there if you look.

Hey again! 585s not for sale, but I would look at someone like Crower, or other! Someone still making them in the US. Guys still recommend I guess a Federal Mogul unit?

Ok Maybe crower or Isky have something?
Saw a cam grinder post on the chevelle forum all FT lifters have issues...cant get the right metal

thats old news as a lot of the newer cams go flat fast, especially the "fast ramp" designs...so whats to keep the HR stuff from doing the same?

Had those HRs go flat too.

I actually look for things with torn up and old boxes, and I hate to let that secret out, because China will start weathering boxes and crap!

Crower is being ran now by the next generation young ones, so don’t know! A phone call is easy!

What happened to my 355 aluminum block, was one of the hot shot high end roller lifters came apart at like 8000 rpms! I wasn’t to happy about that. They tried to claim I must have had an oiling pressure problem! I will never run anything Comp cams in the modern. I do have a set of their old school Stainless rockers in 1.6 7/16 that have done great! I don’t trust the money greedy foreign collaborators to sell me parts! .

The modern Eldebrocks are crooked as crap! I have an old Tarantula on one engine, I took a dremel to remove their name, so I am not advertising for them! They advertised a smog compliant Fuel injection set up, that won’t come close to passing the smog test, even on the Base 350 crate engine (not performance) it was installed on! Got no tech support, took the money from my family member who asked questions, explained what it was going on, got assurances, and then they won’t stand by their claim.

Also they stole designs from Brownfield, Smokey Yunick etc. Reversed engineered some of their product like by closely copying other manufacturers.

OP
Seems your city of Valencia is also home of Teague Custom Marine

On the Johnson Lifters site, TCM is listed as one of JLs' distributors

of course, JLs do cost a wee bit more than others

No problem paying for quality but flat tappet lifters starting at $400 holy smokes lol.

Their ad says "Hardenable" iron so is it not hardened or is?
