Default A/C replacement

The A/C in my 77’ is done. It’s an early one with the R-4 Compressor and a VIR. I’m looking into an after market unit. Vintage Air only works up to 76’. I know it will work with some alterations and rewriting. I don’t want to go that route. I found a place out of Texas called, Original Air also known as Classic Air. They sell a complete kit, everything from the Compressor, VIR eliminator, hoses and brackets. They claim it’s pretty much plug-and-play, no alterations what you would do with vintage. Has anyone ever heard of or any dealings with original Air aka classic air.

A number of folks have recommended the Classic Air VIR eliminator. Haven’t seen anyone talk about their kits.
