Re: Check out these sidepipes (VetteNut72)
Appears from the website that they are branching out into Vette sidepipes. After all... the headlines say Cobra. There can't be that big of a market for Cobra sidepipes, so it only makes sense to go after a market where there is one. It might be a good alternative to the Hooker sidepipes on the market these days.
Anyone volunteering to be the guinia pig? I had Hookers on my '69 and now factory sidepipes on this '74. I guess it all depends on what you like.

You can't put sidepipes on if you have headers designed for under-car exhaust can you? Don't you have to get different headers?

theres an s pipe connecting the collector on the header to the side pipe.
kinda defeates the purpose but still looks cool, I will be changing them to side exit headers when i drop the big block in.

If you do indeed drop that big block in, then you just outgrew those side pipes. Those side pipes are too small to get rid of the big blocks exhaust quick enough (trust me, I know I had those side pipes with my small block). You will need to go with Hooker side pipes or just a plain dual exhaust out the back.

Man, I would love to slap on a set of those with my new motor in Dec. I'm just afraid one of my little boys would get on them when they were hot. :cry
