Hi, little update, I ordered a bolt on H-pipe from summit, I struggle with the location, having to put it further back than ideal, and it’s changed the drone a little, but still there. So, I think I’ll get the mufflers done and hopefully be happy.

Thanks again.

Not 100%, but the Walker dynomax super turbo are the best price/accessible for me so probably those.

Where are you located? I have a set uf super turbos laying around as well as some ultra flows. Yours cheap but I don't feel like shipping.

I’m in the U.K., I’m guessing that’s a bit far to collect! If you do fancy shipping I’d be interested.

Probably cost more to ship than if you bought them there?

I am running Summit racing welded turbo mufflers on my '77 Vette and it doesn't drone at all. They are a decent heavy gauge metal, sound great, and are CHEAP! I think they were about $30-35 each. Just my opinion, but mufflers can be a crap-shoot when it comes to drone. I bought a Hooker Aerochamer muffler for my jeep after hearing it on a friends Toyota truck(both 4cyl, 2.4L vs 2.5L). His truck sounded great, my Jeep sounded like crap and had the drone pretty bad.

i was literally just looking at those summit mufflers on eBay, trying to figure out why they’re so cheap? Also the flowmaster flow fx mufflers look like another option.

Some muffler shops carry "white box" turbo mufflers, they are cheap. Get the dimensions you need of a superturbo that may fit.
Summit sells their own brand of super turbos that sound great, have a unique tone esp at idle. I had 0 resonance.
Point is if say Jegs or Summits shipping is too high perhaps someone local has something similar
I bought a set of 22" case 3" yrs ago as I was told dynomax was discontinuing that line.

I have the Summit stainless steel mufflers SUM-632501. They are $40 each and dont drone. I had magnaflow mufflers a few years ago and got rid of them because the drone was so bad it made my ears hurt.

Try Car Chemistry exhaust inserts .Cured my drone problem I used the optional end caps with no packing ..You will need to tack weld the caps on though ..
Vette is so much more a joy to drive now without that tiring drone !
