My '79 makes so much noise, I have no idea what the tires sound like.

Check these Goodyears out, either the 255/60-R15 GT Radials or the Eagle GT's or the 225/70-R15 Polysteel Radials.

Any of them should be the equivalent of what came on your '75.

Good luck... GUSTO

I was going to say...

The wind noise from the conv top has to be a lot more than the tire noise (at least, on the highway).

You might consider putting sound deadener material on the bulkhead behind the seats and in the rear well area. A lot of 'road noise' enters from there.

How are the tires noisy? If they had heavy lugs like snow tires, I would understand. I never hear my tires unless they are squealing

Bf.Goodrich for quiet. the rubber compound is softer.
Goodyear is much stiffer compound = louder.

Cool tire options that Kelsey offers. I would bet they would sell more of them if they weren’t so expensive.

Had my car for over 30 years . Can't tell you whether mine are quite or loud never payed any attention to them . Plus after I added a chambered exhaust I don't think it would make a difference .
