I don't see how you could possibly be under one horsepower to cubic inch with that build.

Mines not a tall deck but why would you have to cut the front cross member? This is the first time anybody has suggested that

It should fit without touching the front crossmember. Mine is in its place with a standard crossmember, no problem.
