I finally broke into the 12's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)
Finally!!!! I did it!!!!
I got my first 12 tonight!!! I knew it was there... but I couldnt seem to pull it off!!! I finally put down a 12.97 @ 106!!!!
Here's the pass...
60' ....... 1.915
330' ..... 5.390
1/8th .... 8.037
mph ..... 84.32
990 ...... 10.87
1/4 ....... 12.97
MPH ...... 105.99
Now I can finally dig into the motor!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
My Setup is a stock out of the crate ZZ4, Holley 750, M-20, and a 3.36 gear with Hooker sidedpipes and JCL's Spiral Turbo Baffles!!! And I have to say... the Baffels made the difference here!!! On a very similar night last year (before I had the baffles on the car) the best I could muster was 13.3@104 with the exact same set up!!! Jim my hat is off to you!!! Thats one hell of a pipe!!!! Thanks a bunch!!! YOU put me in the 12's!!!!!!!!!

Rod I'm Running Kuhmo's 255/40/17 all the way around.. The Kuhmos get pretty damn sticky with a good Burnout!!! :cheers: I love em so far... and they are cheap!!! :cheers:

Yep youre right Mark. I was at Atco... Right up the street from the House! :D It Makes it a little easier to drop the clutch at 4200 when you know that it will be a cheap tow! :lol: :lol: :lol:
As far as whats next... I have a hundered shot of N20 that has patiently been waiting for 4 months now... I'll be slapping on a New intake (RPM Air Gap) if I can ever find the time to run down and see Pats406nitovette, I'm going to do some head work & make a cam swap now that the 12's are here! All said and done I hope the Car will turn 12.2-12.3 on the motor and dip the mid 11's on the spray... I don't want to take it much further than that...but you never know!!!! :D :D :D :D

Mike that is AWESOME ! I'm suppose to drag race this weekend but theres rain in the forecast :cry . I don't expect I'll be seeing any 12's if I do get a chance to run but 13's should be do-able ;) . Only drag raced once & that was 2 years ago so I'm pretty much a virgin at the track :lol: .
