Heater hose shut off.
Ive had a ball valve in my 5/8" heater hose for years. I just changed all the hoses, and would like something more compact.
Between the valve, and 2 hose barbs, it's kinda large and heavy.
Installed under the air cleaner snorkels, you really don't notice it.
Maybe someone has a tricker way.
My Austin Healey 3000 had a trick little lever on the intake outlet that shut it off manually. Very easy to use and was small.

I do not remember what vehicle this valve was for but I it saw on a friends car and with a bunch of google searching I found it. Pretty compact. I use the zip tie to make sure it doesn't open during the summer. It at least blends in well.

That's pretty trick. Thanks. I wish we knew that part #.
I wonder what else people have come up with?

I was just looking for a water shutoff valve for my C3. I ordered an old cable operated shutoff from my NAPA store:https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6601301

It's been a while but I think so... it works very well. I leave it off almost all the time. It really makes a difference with the AC. I recently added the extra ground wire to the blower and that made a big difference also. I now have pretty decent AC.

installed this on my 66, can tell the difference when i open it, leave shut during the summer , it is pretty compact in size and comes with a couple of different handles,

I haven't gotten the valve yet, but I'm hoping the on/off movement will be kind of stiff like a ball valve. If not, a wire tie? Without having the valve in my possession, I'm not quite sure. Perhaps some type of jury rigging of a universal manual choke cable mounted inside the cockpit?

This place has some neat stuff for guys that do mods. I really like the fittings toward the bottom.

I just got the valve. It has a positive lock in the open and closed positions, so no wire tying or jury rigging a manual choke cable.

Here is a vacuum operated isolate & bypass valve....
Google this thing and you'll see some cool pics. It's about 10 bucks all around.
It will isolate the flowpath and bypass so circulation is maintained.
AC Delco 15-5829
