I sure am glad I read this post. I plan on changing my bulbs also. I was going to get them from the Company below, but now I will look at Stylin Concepts too.
I do have the Lincense Plate Braket Third Brake Light. It is great and Ray Charles could see it! http://www.signaldynamics.com/

I hope those bulbs are worth it, because you can buy LED 1157 replacements at Autozone for about $6.95 each. I have a shelf full of red, amber and clear 1157 and 1156 bulbs. Not bright enough for me. Never used. Or used for about one week. Anyone want to buy them?

I am very satisfied - and yes, I feel they are worth it. Well constructed and VERY bright. I'll put them in the front down the road a bit.
