Rolling Rock is good, but far from the best PA has to offer, Yeungling Lager is by far the best Pennsylvania brew!

I think you need professionals to comment on your statement. Simply send a case of the Yeungling Lager out to the CCC, and we will provide you with an in-depth evaluation and professional opinion.

Lars,
If you come to Terre Haute while you're in Indiana, I'll take you to Mogger's. They have a beer list longer than their menu. :D I've sampled quite a few, although some are a waste of time, like the rasberry, fruity, girls beer. No, I didn't order it, my date did and I stupidly tasted it. :U Had to wash the taste out with a good Hefeweizen. :yesnod:

Looks like a good weekend. I can't believe I posted about my paint project showing my materials and didn't have the sense to put my bottle of Lowenbrau in the picture.
I'll ensure that the bottle makes appearances in my upcoming threads.

Because the ccc met at my house today I will add this story, My wife and I where in DC and walking around endlessly, she is from Maryland, as we walked for what semed like forever we ended up going into this pub just outside the grounds where the Smithonian and all that is and ordered a couple of Rolling rocks on tap, I don't know if it was because we were tired or what but it was the best beer that I had had all day. I can't fault RR at all, it was and still is one of my best beer memories of all time. I know that is kind of sad that all of my memories are of beers that I have had, but I still believe that it was a great beer.
Sad but true.

Where is the Lowenbrau made that you drink? I gave up on Lowenbrau after Miller got a hold of it and really pissed it up. Found out that Miller gave up on it and it was being imported again, so I went out and bought a case. Stuff was made in Canada and was only a slight improvement over the Miller version. I Need the German brewed stuff. I especially liked their October Fest.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the original Lowenbrau was made in Switzerland. There's a German Budweisser, that can't be imported to the US for obvious reasons.
There's also a Dominican Cohiba that's not owned by GC. Not very good :bb :U

And then I go down a coupla posts and there's Moggers! What a dern fine place to get some brews! If anyone gets (or lives) out here, lemme know- we can head to Zeno's in State College, PA for a cold one... If they don't have it, you don't need it!

Lars,
Glad you liked them :) It was the least I could do.
I have a few beer connections here in Ohio They come in real handy
Looks as though you guys in Co. have some good times. I'll have to get something going around here.
Cheers fellas.
I was out of town last week and have about 40 e-mails to return.

A Rolling Rock
Electric Shock
She gives a lickin'
That won't stop.
Sorry. I always hear that song in my head every time I see that beer advertised.

Re: What's That on Lars Chest???? (The Dude)
Although not in the league with Yeungling, one of Anheuser Busch's brewery's is less than a mile from where I work and am sitting now. It's always great to drive by on the way home, roll down the windows, and get a big breath of the beer brewing.

Anyone know if German Lowenbrau is available in the states?
