Are the front turn signal lamps and sockets identical to the rears. I have a 76.

obviously the rears are the round red assemblies which dont resemble the front yellow, so not clear on your question?

Obviously they are different geometric shapes re: their respective reflective lenses.

I'll simplify further.

Refering to the the blinkie blinkie blinkie bulb . . . Will the rear blinkie blinkie bulbs fit the front blinkie blinkie bulbs sockets which lock into the rear of the respective lens assembly??

Funny, I used to write tech manuals for machine tools and am always amazed how people interpret things differently. Not making fun by any means.

The manual shows the same 1157A bulb for front and rear blinky blinky sockets.
