O/T-Goats
I saw this one today at a Cruise Day. You have to love these cars! I do; 389 with 3x2. Always wanted one but only one money pit at at time.

Re: O/T-Goats (paul79)
When I was 16 (1967) I had a '64 3x2 348hp 389 4spd GTO convertible. It was very close to the same color maroon as the one in the picture, with white vinyl interior and white top. I would love to have that car back again. I won many races with it, and turned a lot of young ladies to jelly with it. :D them was the days...

There is a beautiful GTO up here, but not quite as mice as this one. My father had The Judge, all I remember is that it was fast and if not mistaken orange. This was his leased vehicle when he was in sales in late 60's or 1970. Not sure the year but sure wish I had it now.

Pretty car! I rode in a 3 deuce 389 GTO on a wet road- the guy had borowed it from a buddy & was driving it like he stole it. No traction in the 1st 3 gears in sideways mode had me lookin for a change of underwear!
I also like the blue Nova to the left in the pic- you wouldn't happen to have any shots of that would you?????????

Les,
No I do not have pics of the Nova, unfortunately. It was a Plain Jane two-door sedan with a built SB.

I love that Pontiac nose from the mid-60's. My first car was a black '66 Pontiac Parisienne station wagon. (Yeah, I know ... a real babe magnet!)
Unlike Markm10431 up above, I kinda like the looks of what they're going to be bringing in as the '04 GTO. More importantly, I'm looking forward to finding out what the new GTO feels like. I understand that it's going to have a 300+ HP aluminum 350 c.i. small block.
Here's a pic. "Judge" for yourself!

Re: O/T-Goats (mg62)
I agree, I like the new GTO for several reasons that have nothing to do with the way it looks, first of all it is REAR WHEEL DRIVE, secondly it is another high performance car from GM and not an SUV or truck! Maybe Chevy will bring back their own version of the Chevelle SS.

What has not been said is that new GTO is from Australia and has an LS1 engine!

Minor point, the Monaro is a sedan, and comes in 2 and 4 door versions down under. I don't care where it's made, it has a vette motor and 6-speed and rear wheel drive. That drawing is an early styling version, GM says the final version will have some differences (hopefully a hoodscoop or two) Joe
