Adjustable Strut Rods

Quite a number of CF members including myself have VB&P solid heim joint strut rods and I can't think of any better performance option out there. No difference in comfort at all.

They are definitely worth the money because the OEM strut rods will BARELY allow a ZERO camber. Just make sure you get strut rods with forged ends and not welded ends like are coming from China.

I would not use the ones with the poly bushings. Had a pair on for a few years and the poly bushing fell apart. Almost totaled my vetted cause of them. Changed to the helm joints now.

I have had a set on my '79 for close to 20 years now. They are vastly superior to the factory parts. Easier to adjust, and will hold the adjustment. The factory setup has a habit of slipping under hard use.

Do the heim-end version still require the factory camber adjustment bolt that looks pretty flimsy?
Still cannot quite grasp the difference between these and the adjustable struts with the forged ends with bushings.

Poly bushing here is the worst idea ever. They can't take the rotation from the trailing arm articulating. You need a heim here, or a johnny joint, or a super soft squishy rubber bushing.

I just installed my adjustable strut arms from VB&P. Nice parts at a happy price. All new hardware included. Plug and play.
I've only taken one trip out with them, but I have nothing negative to say. I mean...they don't make the car FEEL any different. They shouldn't, unless your strut rod bushings are shot right now.
I will say that I had a difficult time achieving AND HOLDING zero camber with the stock system. I had to crank the HELL out of the cam bolt to get it to hold, and that doesn't make me feel good. I don't think you should have to yank on anything that hard to make it work.
