Just to clarify, this was completely un tuned with just a few mods to the target afr table, with just a TPS, Cam, and Crank sensor hooked up. The ms3 pro let it actually run which blew our mind. We tune it Monday, will have a video of that soon.

Got to work on it early today. Had a remote tuning session and hit some more buttons. After MAP is hooked up and O2's are in we can fine tune the car. Not gonna start it again till at least map is hooked up. Got all the body panels on and fit besides hood with the interior going back together.

What is your target hp? Looks like a pair of 044s start to struggle around 900hp on corn.

No target hp, were still debating 4 link and 8.9x car or build the IRS and 9.5x car.

Well I decided on the 8.9x goal with a 4 link and to not class race. Also we have ran these dual 044's on 1100 on c16 so corn should be fine for whatever my heart desires.

I'm sure I'm stating the obvious, but corn requires 30% more fuel flow than C16. The flow above to support 1100hp on C16 is less than 800hp on corn.

Yea, we got a c3 running a 9.6x on 600hp so getting a 8.9x under 900whp should not be a problem at all.

Getting more parts in, got the Kirkeys in and they fit. Hurst shifter in, radiator mocked up, new 3/4" round tubing column with strange quick release, and PTC converter arrived. Waiting on the th400 to be done next weekend. Well put the trans and converter in then bring it out to the fab shop! Getting close.

I'm busy going to street machines and NHRA races out of state the next 2 weekends so it will be 3 weeks till we get it all in.

Got my steering column on and replaced the rag joint with the u joint. Once the trans gets here its off to the fab shop!

Gotta get a new starter and flywheel tho which sucks already.

Not much, having to get back surgery at 20 sucks and thanks to Obama my deductible is alot...

I got my new Precision Performance shifter.

My trans is now over a month late and he again didn't get it done this Friday for pickup.

Working with a fab shop right now and looks like I can get in at January for the cage, chute, piping, and all the misc junk.

OP, I love your build but your age 20 with an 8 second car ?! That is a very bad recipe for about 98% of young men your age. I hope you will be extremely careful that this car doesn't own you when it comes to power. Save the WOT for the strip . Im serious. Bad recipe for most

I am extremely against anything street. Street racing is for idiots and my car will NEVER see WOT on anything but the track.

I got a question: I take it for your exhaust you're planning on dumping it in front by the front wheels?

Well another update. I worked on the car today and got it all ready for fab work.

Sunday it goes off to get:

10 point
moly steering column mounted
kirkeys mounted
PPP shifter mounted
switch panel mounted
downpipes out the front bumper as bullhorns
radiator mounted
and my Glasstek 5" sunoco hood mounted.

Yes I got a Glasstek 5" sunoco hood. Decided I wanted to hide the intake best I can after cutting the stock hood and not liking it. Pics will come soon! He said it should be done no longer than a month.

Chassis shop already got the main hoop bent up. Apparently they didn't know the whole car was basically fiberglass but floor boards and weren't too happy about that :laughing:

Also got the Glasstek 5" sunoco pin on hood in!
