Getting ready to stick in the ZZ4 and find myself in need of plug wires. I figure I've already broke the bank with the engine, so why short change myself with cheap parts store wires.
So, what are your favorite wires?

Smokey, when I read your question, I started thinking about my favorite plug wires...I decided that I didn't really like 2 or 3...I like 1 and 5...on my 350...Then I read further and realized that you are shopping for plug wires !!!
Do I need to check my meds or is it Friday night !?!?! :eek: :eek:

I see a lot of guys go for high dollar wire, and in fact any wires that have decent cable to them...Belden say,,..or Packard...are ok...work fine and last a long time...I use 8+mm wire....I buy the kits for a BB chebby, and just take them apart for the 2-3 wires I need shorten up for a neat install....much much cheaper for some silly reason than the rolls of wire with separate clips...seems the cores are spiral wire also in a lot of cases....of course I do't see a huge color selection, but somehow dayglow orange/pink/green/ etc never matches a damn thing and looks plain ugly.....

MSD Superconductor 8.5mm. I got the universal kit and cut the to length. Very heavy and thick spark plug boots and they click on so you don't have to worry about a plug wire coming off. I like them alot. Got mine from http://www.summitracing.com

I second the Magnecor. Replaces my stock with Accel, replaced my Accel with Livewires, replaced my Livewires with Magnecor 8.5's. No comparison to anything previous. Please, do yourself a favor and read the information on the Magnecor site and spend and extra $100 for the best wires made. You will not regret it.

Kem, most of my street cars use .065 plug gap with modified HEIs Kem is the only wire that doesn't give any problems.

Thanks guys, lots of opinions and lots of options for me to consider.
