Bird chirping noise right rear help
Just got this 75 coupe running it was sitting for the last 19 years. Chirping stops when brakes applied. I did rebuild parking brake & replaced calipers. Will try to run on rack tomorrow when new exhaust is being installed.
Wheel or tire are DO NOT touching trail arm or e bake. I was thinking wheel bearing or u joint but is stops when step on brake pedal.

If it happens when going slow, have someone walk beside the car and see if it's 1 chirp for one revolution or 1 for every 1/2 revolution
Can help point to runout (as said about) bearing type issues or u-joint type issues

I had the same issue on my 78 after new t/a's were installed. Ended up being the parking brake adjustment was loose. Rubbing on the inside of the rotor.

I had this problem on my 79. This seems to be a common problem. Usually people find that the brake pad is slipping back and forth on the rotor when driving slow. you can get "shims" that will help, at least for a while. I found that adjusting camber to near 0 helped a lot. bleed brakes to be sure no air in brake lines. finally, re-surfacing rotators and maybe changing to a different brake pad will help... which is what finally worked for me

Thanks all,
OK
We found the rotor sticking out @ bottom adjusted the parking brake tighter much quieter
now but going to double check the the hold down springs & revisit the adjustment .
