I like any kind of modernisation done to a car. This may sound blasphemous, but won't this hood vent be a problem while driving in the rain?

I like the car. The vents on the side are nice. Look sort of like 81 model.

Are they electric headlights?

I am not totally sold on the motor. A computer and no room for a Borgeson box kind of rule it out for me.

Very nice car. I'm glad they did this to a C3. By the way, the time lapse photos remind me of how my car is going back together in my garage.

I think it's a nice car too. It retains the classic lines of a C3. The fabricated parts are for all intents and purposes bolt on. The drivetrain is show casing GM's latest C7 Corvette power plant. For me the only thing with this car that's over the top is the budget. With the success that Jimmy Johnson has had in NASCAR it don't think that's a issue.

Any word on whether GMPP or other manufacturer will be making the the 18" Rally replicas available? I assume they are 18x8?

Can the LT1 be backed by a 4L60?

Is the Caddy ATS-V hood vent bigger than the C7 vent? I went to the local Caddy dealership last night but no cars on the lot and the parts guy didn't have any info on it.

Here is what I did on my 1962 restomod.
I blended a 2014 hood with mine. I used mainly a fiberglass carbon weave to blend the two. I could not be happier with the results. It looks pretty sick in person.

Yep, I am out of town right now, but will be back this weekend for more pics. I think I did more work on the underside. I had a hood scoop on it before and it just didn't give it that modern look I wanted. I had to move the hood brace back. Pics soon.
