Default lt1 swap + supercharger

I'm look at more options for my 80 c3 engine swap/upgrade.

Did anyone swap in an Lt1 with a supercharger?

Seen this photo and wanted to know if the combo could be added into a C3:

Without seeing it in person I'd say you don't have enough room in from of the motor.

I think it can be done as I know that lt1s have been retro fitted, but i haven't seen one with with a super charger on it, it seems to me that after the engine install the tough part would be getting the super charger to fit with intercooler and hood. If you go that route you could leave a little piping exposed through the hood but try and leave 95% of the hood intact, just cut channels for the piping to go over the radiator.

Thanks I haven't done the swap yet and am looking at options. Would like to leave the hood as is. I only see photos post install and wanted to know if someone actually did thr install/challenge. Am looking for an lt1/4 motor now and would add the s/c once the motor is in.

Is there a top mount charger for the lt1? Much like the Whipple s/c for lsx.

i had a 1993 vette and was always told theres no wipple or top mounted super chargers because of the reverse flow design of the motor, but that was a while ago so maybe someone got past that problem, you have a better chance with going turbo and just putting them in the back
