I would shop for an engine somewhere else. Odds are that IF you are not satisfied for some reason and have to complain, his reply to you will likely include one or more of the following insults. . . “YOUR FULL OF B.S. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING, YOU’RE AN IDIOT, YOU’RE A FLAKE, YOU’RE A LIER, YOUR CLAIM IS REDICULOUS, YOUR IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE…GROW UP!” These are examples of things he said to other customers who left negative feedback for him on eBay.

My past ebay experience has been if someone has negative feedback, STAY AWAY!!! This guy has a lot of bad feedback. The prices look good but the quality looks bad. Anyone can offer a great warranty but unless they back it up, it's useless.

I would definately stay away from this guy! I buy and sell things on EBAY and with feedback like that he won't be their long! He looks like the "Earl Shieb" of motors! I don't live in PA anymore but the guys from Greenwood Chevy in Youngstown are top notch for Crate Engines and Aftermarket Corvette stuff. I bought alot of "Resto" stuff from them, very good and knowledgable!.....MAX www.greenwoodchevy.com

Greenwood is where I got my LM1 Universal engine from. Very friendly and prompt delivery. Might want to take a peek at the HT383 truck engine. Sneak a nice cam in it and you got a very good engine.

I have to agree with everyone else. In fact, I emailed this guy once, to ask him a few questions. Four months have passed, and no reply.
I know that the email worked, because it went through the eBay system, and it also sent me a copy.
My point is that if the guy won't even respond to an email, how will he ever satisfy a customer? Just my .02 worth!

The seller's comments do not inspire confidence. GM Performance has a wide selection of motors, with solid warranties. I would go with them.

There are some complaints about this company at the Better Business Bureau.. I was considering buying an engine from them but after checking the feedback... too many complaints - even some with the BBB. If you want to buy an engine on EBAY - go with those guys:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-c...ns%40erols.com
That's the company that I purchased the engine from even though I didn't purchase it through Ebay. Check their feedback. There hasn't been a single complaint about the quality of their engines... The only complaints were about slow delivery/delays for special orders... I am very satisfied with the engine they sold me. The engine was exactly as promised. The only issues I have and had with the engine were tuning related. (An inproperly tuned engine won't perform well) The intake is not sealing perfectly (it was changed AFTER I received the engine) and the performance on the rear wheels was not as expected. However - inbetween I found out why I was losing that many horsepower and at the next dyno run - I expect to be close to the manufactorers HP specs!!!
