Default Another mechanical oil pressure sending unit question

I have looked through the old forums, the internet and multiple catalogs with no luck. I junket the old truck motor that was in my 72 and replaced with a L82. The old motor had no gauges hooked up and the oil pressure gauge in the dash has the plastic tube for a mechanical oil pressure unit. Anyone know where to get one or do you just make one from homie depot?? I'm assuming this little 1/4 inch plug is where the unit should be located. Any info is appreciated.

Home depot, or any auto parts store.

A mechanical oil pressure gauge doesn't have a sending unit. You need a 1/8" male pipe to 1/8" compression fitting. Most hardware stores should have it.
