I good all around shock for daily driver. I stepped up to Koni single adjustable rebound shock. For a little over $100 a shock it was worth it but I drive hard

I purchased a set of 'Corvette "Reactek" Shock Absorber, Gas, Rear, ACDelco' from Ecklers back in 2002. Rears are $45/ea and fronts are $40/ea. The old ones were leaking so these were a serious improvement and are still doing the job.

You would be hard pressed to get a better shock for the money than a Bilstein. E-Shocks also has some of the best prices on quality shocks as well. http://www.eshocks.com/bil_veh.asp?M...&Manf=Bilstein
Also, many of the Forum vendors (VB&P and Van Steel are just two) have excellent prices on shocks and best of all will be happy to help you pick the best shock for your car and how you drive.
Good luck... GUSTO

SensaTrac by Monroe for a smooth ride.
The $100/each shocks for driving the curves and along canyon walls with Wile E. coyote 50 feet behind you!

A/C Delco Premiums, fronts & rears were my choice two weeks ago for my '82. They were released by the GM engineers for the car, the closest stock replacement option if you're into C3 design retention, and the best affordable performance and ride balance. And, my wife likes them.
I replaced 2-yr old Sensitracs installed by prior/original owner in PA which rode well but I started to get slightly sea sick on one ride on bumpy Michigan roads; it was subtle but still decided they were too soft and time to replace. They looked like brand new coming off, but you could hear a lot of fluid in them sloshing around when you mildly shook them, unlike the Delcos.

And, did I mention that my wife thinks they're good - happy wife, happy cruising life
