Look under the back of the car. You'll see the spring going across the back of the car. On each end of the spring is a bolt. Tighten or loosen them to change the ride height.
If it is a steel spring and it's old and getting weak so it's looking deformed or has no arch then you may want to look at replacing it.

Thanks, I think my spring is a little weak. I saw the bolts your talking about and the rubber cushions are old and flat too, which I think need replaced. It's really too low, plus it makes the front too high. I just want to get it balanced - thanks guys.

Replacing the worn rubber parts and screwing the spring bolt nuts onto the bolt more.......that should get an inch in height.
If it doesn't raise an inch......buy two new spring bolts that are an inch shorter and install them......(one rookie to another).

my 75 had oem 9 leaf original spring. put it in gear at idle and the *** end sunk 2 inchs bleh. Ecklers sells the 7leaf gymkana spring and all new bolt kit. now she sits a little butt high, the way I like, an inch or so higher than the front end, also gymkana rated 550lb front springs and new kyb gas assist shocks on all four corners. night and day difference in stance and road handling.

I have a set of air shocks on my '77... With a VB&P Dual Mount Spring Set-up. I have to use them inflated to get over our Speed Bumps... Due to the Dual 2-1/2" exhaust pipes headed toward the 4 centered 3" resonators coming out the rear just past the spring assembly...No cats or mufflers installed....as far as "Disco" goes...I married my "Dancing Queen" ...She has been quite a " Gift". I got them also on a '73 Grand Am pulls my '77 Baja Speed Boat... Love them air shocks on my '66 Malibu SS 396...

I got looking at what needs to be done to replace the bolts and cushions, and notice that the hole you push the bolt up though is blocked by the brake line. Boy it just gets tougher and tougher working on these things. Plus all the bolts are seized up too. Sure wished I had a lift, it would make a hell of a difference.
