For those of you with a 68-72 car, what wipers are you using that fit nicely under the wiper door? I want to replace mine with some that fit under the door a little better.

I switched to the one-piece style a while back (no frame) and that seems to have created a lot more room in there. I'll get a brand off them when I go to the shop here in a bit

I've got two slips here in the shop, can't really see the wipers and can't get at it to activate the door. They are either rain-x or reflex. One way of the other they came from c-tire and they are the bracketless style so they lay down shorter than the old frame style

I used the old frames cleaned up and painted and went w/ the refill from Advance Auto and made them work. They come in different widths, so i just took the wiper in and test fit them in the store. It rarely sees rain, only when caught, and they are doing fine.

Stock arms; stock replacement refills. Can't recall whether I'm using Anco or Trico. Probably Anco.

I know the ones you are talking about, I will have to go take a better look at them.

I have the stock arms, but the stock blade frames are long gone.
