Hood prop, you should be able to find a new one at one of the supporting vendors or a used one on e-bay.

Hi T,
This repair is going to take a fiberglass repair using mat and resin
First though you should try to determine why it broke.
The hood prop has a bolt that goes the the gutter but also should have a tail on it below the gutter. 2 bolts got through the tail into the steel brace for the front of the apron and cote support.
You should make sure those are present or the gutter will break again because it alone isn't strong enough to take the load of the hood support.
Regards,
Alan

Tks Alan, It looks like it never had a brace. Looks like it was just bolted through the gutter. I was reading about some people putting strut kits on, is that a good option.

Hi t,
All original supports had a brace.
There's no way the gutter can support the hood's weight by itself.
If you're going to go through the trouble to do the repair I'd buy the proper support.
The larger vendors have them.
