Default couple of header and muffler q's

I'm considering a change in header and exhaust. I was looking at the ARH header with merge collectors and possibly a stepped header design. Engine is pretty high rpm unit with decent power.

Anyone run this type of header on a muffled car. Does it do anything ?

Also what is a good low or no backpressure muffler that doesn't have a obnoxious exhaust tone/drone ?

I can tell you the step header design works very well on Harley motorcycles so if they are not much more than standard headers, I would buy them.
I went with manga flow mufflers. Nice tone and upper rpm they get roaring. If you want that open exhaust note, the VT mufflers get loud!
