I like to be different. Whatever you use to clean with is fine but for protecting the vinyl I found over the years that the best thing is SUNTAN OIL with a 30 or higher UV blocker #. Not lotion ... Oil.. It smells good and really works in sun belt areas. I Have NEVER had a car with a cracked dash. I have been using oil for about 20 years . Think about it!

I like to be different. Whatever you use to clean with is fine but for protecting the vinyl I found over the years that the best thing is SUNTAN OIL with a 30 or higher UV blocker #. Not lotion ... Oil.. It smells good and really works in sun belt areas. I Have NEVER had a car with a cracked dash. I have been using oil for about 20 years . Think about it!
oil for cleaning?? I wouldn't have thought about using oil - but it's great if it works!!!

Agree that simple green, available in auto parts stores, K-Mart, and Walmart ect., works well to clean. (use diluted with warm water)

You already found out where to get it so, you don't need much, just a dab or two on a "wet" soft brush works fine. Small area at a time (just so it doesn't dry up on you before you wipe it off (damp Rag).
