Mufflers for 1974

I have a new engine, SB 400ci / 413hp / 490tq. I'm installing 2.5" exhaust manifolds with 2.5" stainless steel exhaust.

I would like recommendations on what type of mufflers I should use and where I can purchase them.

This is a daily driver and would like a deep throaty sound at idle.

have you checked with a local muffler shop??? a local corvette club, members there may know who has what you want locally. Try to keep your money local to help the local economy, and easier to get help with problems.
